Prepared for High School Success.
The academic challenge of Junior High readies students for the next step, high school. In science class, using the Constructivist method, junior high students are asked to form a hypothesis and construct an experiment to test that hypothesis. In social studies, students debate issues in history sometimes being asked to defend a difficult position. Language arts classes encourage students to develop an appreciation of various authors, their styles, and their works. Students advance the skill of analyzing literature as literary elements are explored. Blessed Sacrament students are ready for the rigor of high school.
