Achievements

National Blue Ribbon School Award

Blessed Sacrament received the National Blue Ribbon School Award in 1994 and again in 2007! We are the only elementary school in Northern Kentucky to receive this prestigious award twice.

As a Blessed Sacrament student, your child will share in the successful spiritual and academic tradition of our school. Each year students in grades three, five, six and seven take the Terra Nova standardized tests.  BSS has scored in the top tenth percentile of the country for the past five years. Compared to those in the Diocese, BSS scores well above the diocesan average.

High School Scholarships

Since 2003, 43 students have been awarded scholarships from our local high schools.
Yearly, Blessed Sacrament students earn scholarships to Covington Catholic High School, Notre Dame Academy and Villa Madonna.

Student Awards

Our Celebrate Success program honors our students in grades 5-8 for academic success.

Quarterly, the Christian Student Award is given to 2 students in grades 4-8 for exempliary Christ-like behavior. These students are nominated by their classmates. In May, the May Crowning court is also chosen by the students and is based on the same criteria.

Yearly, students receive awards from the the Kentucky Conservation Department, the Kentucky Attorney Office, Diocesan Pro-Life Commission, and the Diocesan Academic Competition.

Faculty Awards

The Blessed Sacrament School Faculty is a highly qualified group of professional educators dedicated to the mission of Catholic education. Our faculty averages 14 years teaching experience. Out of 31 teachers, Masters Degrees are held by 23.

Since 2003, teachers have been awarded grants from the the Greater Cincinnati Foundation for science and social studies projects, and from the Northern Kentucky Health Department for promoting healthy living.
