Families In Need

Please join as our parish and school family
helps families in our area, in need.

Each year during Advent, Blessed Sacrament Parish and School families join together to provide gifts during the holiday season to families in need.

 How Families in Need Works:

As we begin the season of thanksgiving and joy, the families of Blessed Sacrament church and school are coming together to assist families in our area who are in need of food certificates, clothing and children's toys.  This holiday season we will assist families through the United Ministries of Erlanger and the Salvation Army of Covington.  This year we will also be assisting the children of Central Fairmount School.  Many families at this school are unable to afford gifts for their children at the holiday, so our program is once again filling an important need.

It's Easy To Help

FIRST - Select a gift tag from the "Families in Need" trees in the back of church. Children may select tags after school masses, during PSR classes or anytime they are in church.

Tags are coded so that you may select the type of gift you wish to donate.

Choose tags for a household item gift certificate.  You'll help twice as these certificates can be bought through the BSS Certificate program, which benefits the school.  You may contribute money, which we will translate into certificates.

Or, choose a tag for clothing, books, toys or wrapping paper.

NEXT - Turn in your UNWRAPPED gift (or certificate donation) with the Families in Need tag (this is important because your gift is for a specific person) at Mass.

Thank you for your support of this wonderful project.
