First communion is celebrated during a special Mass in early Spring by our students in the second grade. The First Communion Mass is open to families and invited guests of our first communicants.  Please check the monthly calendar in April for dates and times. 

The Eucharist is the center of our Catholic life. It brings us together, unites us, and gives us strength to live as people of God. Teachers, in cooperation with parents, guide the students to understand and believe that the Mass is a Eucharistic celebration, where Catholic families gather to remember the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, to express our love for Christ and for one another, and then to be nourished and strengthened by receiving  the Body and Blood of Jesus.
